I love my job! Each day, I look forward to the opportunity to provide orthodontic care to the patients and families of the communities I serve.
I was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where my parents instilled the values of the “Golden Rule” and helping others in my sisters and me. I am grateful to my wife, parents, family, and mentors for providing me with the support and opportunity to become an orthodontist.
I am a graduate of Baldwin High School, Bethany College, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation from dental school, I was inducted into the prestigious dental honorary society, OKU. I completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, during which I focused on surgical orthodontics. Finally, I completed my orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
I was invited to become a faculty member at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine 2001 as an associate clinical professor. This appointment provides the environment for continued educational growth and the opportunity to collaborate with other exceptional dental specialists. As a result, I have a network of dental professionals to assist me in providing exceptional care to you, the patients of Mortimer Orthodontics.
I have been married to my best friend and wife for more than 30 years. We have three adult sons and a dog. When I’m not at work, I enjoy family time, cooking, cycling, running, traveling, and being with friends.
